What is Botox®?
Botox® is a neuromodulator or botulinum toxin injectable used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
How does Botox® work?
Botox® blocks nerve signals to muscles. This prevents the muscle from contracting, which results in relaxing and softening wrinkles and fine lines.
How long does it take to see the results of Botox®?
Some people start to see the effects of their treatment, with the area looking smoother and more refreshed after just 5 to 7 days. However, the full effect of the BOTOX® treatment will be seen between 10 and 14 days.
How long will my Botox® last?
On average, Botox® lasts 3-4 months, however, this varies from one person to the other. Some people get more time and others get less time.
What is the difference between Botox® and Filler?
Botox is injected to temporarily immobilize or relax certain muscles that cause wrinkles and Filler rejuvenates your look by filling those wrinkles.
How long does Filler last?
This depends on the product, the area of treatment, and the patient.

Meet our Nurse Injector : Vickie Preus, R.N.
Vickie graduated from Xavier University with an Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree and became a registered nurse in 1994, she then went on to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree graduating in 1995. She has over 26 years of experience in the nursing field, the bulk of which was spent in the neonatal intensive care unit of several high-profile hospitals across the United States. Caring for tiny distressed babies helped her to develop a delicate touch when working with patients.
-Vickie has over 6 years experience as a cosmetic injector. She is passionate about consulting with each patient to meet their specific goals, while ensuring that all treatments result in natural improvements that help each client look their very best. Through a combination of solid medical training and artistic skill she is able smooth, lift, and sculpt to help each client look the absolute best version of themselves!
